SUMMARY

Rebecca Gonzales graduated Summa Cum Laude with Distinction in English and with Honors in the Liberal Arts from The Ohio State University. After obtaining her BA, Rebecca worked for Ohio Legislative Service Commission drafting legislation and conducting research for Ohio’s state representatives and senators for nearly five years.

Inspired by her work with the Ohio legislature and her volunteer experience as a guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children, Rebecca returned to school and obtained her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, she participated in the law school’s Justice for Children Clinic and was a staff member and Symposium Co-Chair for The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution.

After law school, Rebecca worked for legal aid managing a medical-legal partnership for Southeastern Ohio Legal Services which allowed her to represent clients in various civil law matters, including special education and Medicaid cases.

After moving to Arizona in 2010, Rebecca began her career in Social Security Disability. Since then, she has represented thousands of individuals throughout the country with their disability claims. She is admitted to the practice of law in Ohio and is an active member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR).
